Position: 29°59.527'N / 88°30.610'W

This 145' River Tug Boat is sitting upright in about 86' of water within FH-13. Visibility was decent with about 30-40 feet above the wheelhouse, but dropping to under 5 below it. Fish Observations included Red Snapper (1-12lbs./6-10), Gag Grouper (1-10lbs./3-4), Scamp (1-3lbs./3-5), Mangrove Snapper (1-6lbs./6-10), Trigger Fish (4-6), Sheepshead (1-6lbs./50-75), and Spadefish (175-200).

This 175' Pogey Boat was donated by Omega Protein and deployed in FH-13 on November 24, 2009. Visibility was around 25 feet on the roof, but dropped quickly to less than 2 feet below that. Measurements indicated 63' of depth at the top of the light on the roof and 74' at the Bow Pulpit. Fish Observations included Red Snapper (1-10lbs./50-75), Spadefish (175-200), Mangrove Snapper (1-6lbs./6-10), Sheepshead (1-6lbs./50-75), Tomtates (75-100), Grouper (1-4lbs./6-8), Scamp (1-3lbs./2), and Triggerfish (6-8). Several of the larger Game Sized Red Snapper were observed in the upper mid-water. There were many more baitfish like Tomtates on this reef compared to the Gerald Cororan.
